My dad told me about the project at Sedro Woolley. It seemed like a good way to help out my community and neighbors.

What do you gain by volunteering?
Volunteering to me is a way to give back and to help others out when they need it most.

Why did you become a volunteer?
I am involved in a program with community actions that placed me here. I love how much this place gives back.

What do you gain by volunteering?
Putting back into the community, it gives me a strong sense of being and an overall great feeling. “Pay it forward” is my motto.

A bad hip forced me to leave trail work. My new hip allows me to work at Habitat and do tail work. It’s the best of both worlds.

What do you gain by volunteering?
It’s a great way to do something I enjoy with some really good people.
