Black Friday is coming and there’s still one place with deals you can’t get online. That’s right! The Skagit Habitat Store is the place to be on Black Friday. You can do the rest of your holiday shopping from the comfort of your home, but you can only get 75% off tools, furniture, building supplies, and more in person at the Habitat Store in Mount Vernon on November 29th.
The store is open from 10am-6pm so get your early bird shopping done first or sleep in due to your turkey tryptophan coma and still get those deals as soon as the doors open. There’s nothin

Speaking of great finds, the store recently received truckloads of donations from the Skagit Hotel & Casino as well as Crown Plaza Hotel in Seattle. Store manager, Jason Harrison, says that in addition to these items, the store will have “giant rolls of carpet and tons of table lamps” on the floor for Black Friday. Jason continued to say that there will be, “incredible deals in every department.”
The Habitat Store helps keep our lights on (also you can get lighting there 😊). When you shop, donate, or volunteer at the Habitat Store you win, and the local community wins with you. Revenue from the store helps to support our mission to build homes, community, and hope in Skagit County. In fact, it is our steadiest stream of revenue, allowing our operations team to focus on making an impact through affordable housing programs across Skagit County.
Money raised from the store at this time is especially vital due to our upcoming builds in La Conner and Anacortes. In La Conner, we will start construction on 3 single-family homes early in 2025. The Anacortes project is on a similar schedule with 8 townhomes going up on 29th St. That’s 11 Skagit families you will support by shopping at our store on Black Friday. Reason #1-11 to shop at our store on Black Friday right there (gotcha with that title 😊) . There’s been no better time to get great deals on awesome finds all while supporting your friends and neighbors.
