Join a panel of Skagit Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers on March 1st at the Anacortes Senior Activity Center at 11 am to learn about affordable homeownership opportunities in Anacortes. These cottage-style homes will have 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and two stories. We’ll select applicants earning between 70% and 80% of the Area Median Income. Before attending, check if you meet the qualifications for our Anacortes Construction project:
Household Size
One to four people. No more than two children in a room. Children of the opposite sex cannot share a bedroom.
Residency
Reside in Skagit County for at least one year and are a permanent legal resident.
Need
Currently live in substandard housing or paying 50% or more of income on rent.
Willingness to Partner
Must complete 150 hours of sweat equity labor volunteering for Skagit Habitat.
Credit and Debt-to-Income (DTI)
Have a credit score of 620 or higher And a debt-to-income ratio of 43% or lower.
2 Year Work History
