Volunteer
There’s a volunteer opportunity for everyone at Skagit Habitat for Humanity!
Homes + Community + Hope + You
Skagit Habitat for Humanity volunteers are the foundation of our mission. Thanks to your dedication and hard work, we can offer families in Skagit County the opportunity to achieve the dream of affordable homeownership. No matter what volunteer opportunity you choose, you’ll be making a tangible difference in the lives of families in need of affordable housing in Skagit County.
How to become a volunteer
- Submit an inquiry.
- Complete a federal background check (Skagit Habitat will cover the fee). You will receive an email with a release authorization after you submit an inquiry.
- Upon successfully passing the background check, all volunteers are required to attend the New Volunteer Orientation, where you will:
– Learn about our organization
– Take a site tour
– Meet your supervisor
– Receive scheduling instructions
– Complete relevant training for your position
