Garden Path Fermentation, the newest member of our Community Builders Circle!

Garden Path Fermentation is excited to partner with SGarden Path Fermentation kagit Habitat and help bolster affordable homeownership in Skagit County. Located behind the Skagit Regional Airport, Garden Path is one of the very few producers in the world that’s able to make beer, wine, cider, and mead, all using ingredients sourced from its own backyard. Using only native yeast fermentation, Garden Path prides itself on staying local and using ingredients sourced from Skagit Valley and the Pacific Northwest.

Buy Local, Build Local Campaign –> Stronger Skagit Community

This partnership with Garden Path Fermentation is a result of Skagit Habitat for Humanity’s “Buy Local, Build Local” campaign, which focuses on collaborating with local businesses that share a passion for affordable housing. We believe that by working together, Skagit County’s nonprofits and local businesses can create a stronger community with quality, affordable housing.

Since 1994, Skagit Habitat has built 45 permanently affordable homes and is getting ready to break ground on three more homes this fall. We are so excited to take on another project in the charming town of La Conner and partner with three more Skagit County families to help build and buy their own home. (Click here to read more.)

What we do – building affordable homes – would not be possible without the community’s support. We want to thank our donors and community partners for their financial support and volunteers for donating their time and expertise to our organization. Together, we are helping our neighbors, building a stronger community, and bringing us one step closer to ensuring that everyone in Skagit County has a safe, affordable place to call home.

How can you continue to support our homebuilding? Beer & Bingo. Mark your calendar, bring your bingo buddies, and enjoy an exciting night filled with locally sourced beers, multiple rounds of bingo, prizes, and a little friendly competition with Whatcom Habitat for Humanity. Donations are encouraged and can be accepted via cash and card!
