Volunteer with Skagit Habitat for Humanity!

Submit your volunteer inquiry to get started.

Want to join us in bringing God’s love to life by building homes, community, and hope in Skagit Valley? Begin your journey now by Submitting a Volunteer Inquiry! If you have a group that would like to volunteer, email [email protected].

Submit an Individual Volunteer Inquiry

  • Step 1: Submit An Inquiry – Start your journey by submitting a Volunteer Inquiry, which will let us know how you or your group are interested in serving. If you aren’t sure where you want to serve yet, just tell us that on your inquiry, and we can help find a place for you based on your unique skills and interests!
  • Step 2: Complete An Application –  After you submit your inquiry, we’ll send you an application based on your area of volunteering interest.
  • Step 3: Schedule Your New Volunteer Orientation – Once you have been approved to volunteer, your last step will be to attend a New Volunteer Orientation. You’ll learn about our organization, take a tour of your site, meet your supervisor, learn how to schedule your shifts, and complete any position-relevant training.
  • Now, you’re ready to start Volunteering! Together we’ll fulfill our mission, to put God’s love into action by building homes, community, and hope in Skagit Valley.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers that are 16 or 17 will need a guardian’s consent and signature, while any applicant over 18 will be required to submit a criminal background check. If you have any questions about the background check process, please contact [email protected].
